SubScouter works without connecting to your bank or reading your email inbox. Instead, you get a private scan address. You forward receipts to it — manually or via an inbox rule — and our AI extracts the billing data instantly. Your raw email is never stored.
The Mechanic
When you sign up, you receive a private scan address (e.g. a1b2c3d4@subscouter.com). Whenever you receive a subscription receipt, you forward it to that address. Our system strips the metadata, sends the raw text to our AI parser, and adds the subscription to your dashboard instantly.
The Limits
We parse up to 50 forwarded receipts per month and track up to 5 active subscriptions. It is free because you do the forwarding manually — the computational overhead is minimal.
Auto-Forwarding Rules
Instead of manually forwarding, you set up one inbox rule in Gmail or Outlook that automatically routes any email containing "receipt", "invoice", or "subscription" to your scan address. From that point, everything is automatic.

With unlimited volume unlocked, we deploy heavier AI models to extract merchant name, billing cycle, price, currency, and next renewal date with near-perfect accuracy.
Proactive Alerts
Because we know the exact renewal cadence, we send you alerts 3 to 30 days before each charge and provide one-click cancellation guides.
